I was first recommended to Australia Debt & Insolvency Solutions by a friend. I called the ADAIS team from a Salvation Army Employment Plus phone. I was unemployed, single, had lost my licence and my car, I was living with friends, I was destitute and had turned to alcohol and drugs to solve my problem. I was ignoring all my bills and responsibilities.

I became in debt because of a credit supplier. Being young and gullible, I kept increasing the limits on my credit cards to buy expensive luxuries and go on holidays, thus putting me in ridiculous debt that I could not repay.

Melissa, of ADAIS, told me she could help my situation by putting me in a Part 9 Debt Agreement. It was a simple procedure which she explained thoroughly.
